FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating)
The detection speed is very fast and it doesn't miss subtle changes! It is strong against electricity and can be miniaturized.
The "FBG" is a type of optical fiber that has multiple refractive index modulation sections (Bragg gratings, diffraction gratings) formed at regular intervals in the core, where light is confined while refracting, by irradiating the optical fiber with ultraviolet lasers. The spacing of these sections changes slightly as the optical fiber expands and contracts due to temperature or strain, resulting in a corresponding change in wavelength. The optical fiber is very thin, allowing for miniaturization. Additionally, it is provided in a state that can be used immediately as a sensor. 【Features】 ■ Sensor utilizing FBG ■ Detects temperature, strain, and pressure ■ Speed of light ■ Resistant to electricity ■ Compact and lightweight ■ Ready to use *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
